Lubna H. Hakim

Lubna H. Hakim

Ms. Hakim is a Bay Area native, and has been dedicated to and passionate about helping her community for years. This led her to interning with The Family Violence Appellate Project, Legal Services for Prisoners with Children, the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, and Community legal Services in East Palo Alto.

Lubna graduated from the University of California at Davis, and she received her Juris Doctorate, as well as a Public Interest and Social Justice Law Certificate, from Santa Clara University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the state of California. During law school, Ms. Hakim won the prestigious Witkin Award in Legal Analysis, Research and Writing. She also received Cali Awards in Appellate Advocacy, Negotiation, and Wills and Trust. In addition, Ms. Hakim made the Dean’s List each year throughout Law School.

Ms. Hakim’s history with public service has allowed her to work with diverse communities, and aids in her understanding of intercultural dynamics in law. Family Law was where her commitment to community service was truly able to shine, and, once there, she never looked back. At Silicon Valley Law Offices, Lubna worked as a legal assistant through law school and as an Associate Attorney after passing the California Bar, which allowed her to gain a rich base of knowledge and experience from SVLO’s exceptional team of paralegals and attorneys.

Ms. Hakim is fluent in English and Arabic, enabling her to help a wider cross section of our community, and is a member of the Santa Clara Bar Association, Family Law Division. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing cards, and traveling.
